Hello, World!
The P.I.T.S. is a service oriented company. We repair, service, design and build computers, networks and websites. We also can service other main stream electronics such as cell phones, personal digital assistants, televisions and gaming systems. This is the core of our business, and we take pride in our versatility.
All of our employees have extensive experience in computer repair and system design. We are capable of upgrading and designing systems to meet or exceed our customers' expectations. The reality of computer repair resides in the limitations of the machine. We understand each component and how it integrates into the whole of the system. This translates into our ability to give the client knowledgeable explanation and direction regarding the cost benefits of upgrade options versus replacement.
Networks are one of our specialtys. In their simplest form, they provide efficient methods of communication between a variety of equipment to simplify business and when integrated into home entertainment systems, provide outstanding entertainment value. We understand how networks work, and what causes them to fail. The most common factors that are overlooked are packet size, bandwidth and communication protocols. Paying close attention to these variables is key to making sound decisions about network design, and ultimately a successful and scalable network environment.
When it comes to websites, our philosophy is to custom tailor it to our clients' needs. Every website has its own unique niche. As a rule of thumb, they generally require integration into the image and purpose of the company. Navigation and continuity remain staples of the craft. Search engine optimization has become an increasingly important issue due to the massive explosion of E-business over the last ten years. We have followed this growth and have a firm grasp on maximizing the various web based programming languages to be flexible enough to achieve our clients' needs. This also allows us to design sites that are maintenance friendly.
Meet The Techs! |
Julian Dumont Owner/Operator/Lead Computer Technician
Julian has been working with computers for over 20 years. He started out programming in Basic on an IBM 8086 at the age of 12. He spent the majority of his youth buying electronic toys from garage sales and taking them apart to figure out how they work, much to the dismay of his parents. After much time and allowance, he was able to put them back together as well.
He has continued his passion for knowledge of how things work ever since and has a knack for fixing almost anything electronic. He has an Associates degree with honors in Network Systems Administration and certifications in A+, CCNA, Net+, and has his MCSE. He also is really cool. Yes, he wrote this.
Steve Rosburg Hardware Mastermind/Super Computer Technician
 Bio in progress...
Joe Manning Resident Business Guru/Web Designer/Computer Technician
During the spring of 2001, Joe came out to Colorado to
visit friends during spring break. He loved it here so much, he decided he
was not going back and transferred schools to DeVry University at
Colorado Springs, where he met Julian. They were both in the networking
program together and immediately clicked. Since then they have developed a
working and social relationship that has expanded their customer service
and the diversity of tools they bring to the table to meet there clients
needs.
After graduating DeVry in 2005 with a
Bachelors in Technical Management and an Associates degree in Network
System Administration. He went on to complete his Masters in Business
Administration. The skills and knowledge base gained with these
educational decision allows him to help customers tailor their websites
and develop new system implementation that will better mesh with their
business structure and allow the scalability they need for future
growth. He is big into integrated brand promotion and believes web
presence is an excellent opportunity to integrate staff personalities
with the virtual store front.
He enjoys helping others and teaching them
as he works. It develops the relationship and trust needed between
customer and client to produce win-win situations out of the sometimes
catastrophic issues we are called upon to address when our services are
requested. On-site or off-site, he believes putting a little into the
social aspect of a service call to alleviate the stress and frustrations
of computer problems. After all, computer problems are the pits, and we at the P.I.T.S. believe we can make them a positive experience…. or at least not that bad.
He is also known as "the cute guy."
